Day 1:
0830hrs Meet and greet with your driver/guide, depart for Mikumi National Park.
1230hrs Lunch at the camp
1400hrs Afternoon game drive of Mikumi National Park, which is rich in wildlife and contains buffalo, elephant and lions. Also found are zebra, impala, warthog, hippo and giraffe.
Dinner and overnight at Vuma Hill Tented Camp / Mikumi Wildlife Camp
Day 2:
0800hrs After breakfast, depart for Ruaha National Park via Iringa town. Stop in Iringa for lunch.
PM Afternoon game drive of Ruaha National Park.
Dinner and overnight at Ruaha River Lodge. The lodge is constructed on and around a rocky kopje overlooking the great Ruaha River. The camp provides comfortable accommodation and good food while blending into its surroundings to enable visitors to feel themselves a part of the wild. Both the dinning “Banda” and the bar, in elevated position above the river combine comfort and coolness together with the most spectacular view.
Day 3:
0800hrs After breakfast, full day game drive of Ruaha National Park. Ruaha, with an area of 10,300sq.km. is the second largest park, and second largest elephant sanctuary in Tanzania. The great Ruaha River which flows along its entire eastern border, creating spectacular gorges and scenery, features a large number of hippos and crocodiles. The wide variety of animals include Greater and Lesser Kudu, Roan and Sable Antelope. Birdlife is rich, with over 370 species recorded.
Picnic lunch on the way.
Dinner and overnight at Ruaha River Lodge.
Day 4:
0800hrs After breakfast, depart for Dar es Salaam with picnic lunch. Arrive Dar es Salaam late evening.
